MJF is a proprietary 3D printing process of HP. During printing, MJF sprays the adhesive onto the polymer powdered material, usually nylon layers, then uses the IR heater to sinter them to manufacture parts. It can realize low-volume production and improve efficiency.
MJF 3D printing technology is similar to SLS printing with PA material. It can print excellent prototypes and functional parts and is the most suitable choice for low-volume production. There are black and colored options available. MJF can manufacture high-precision accessories and realize complicated shape printing.
The Advantages of MJF

Workflow Simplification and Cost Reduction
MJF streamlines the workflow and cuts down costs. Compared with injection molding, it holds a distinct cost-competitive edge. MJF enables low-volume manufacturing of end-use parts.

Part Production and Performance
MJF 3D printing can produce end-use parts with near-isotropic properties as per demand. The products manufactured through this technology have good performance consistency.

Functional Prototype
MJF is an ideal option for creating functional prototypes. It uses durable and chemically resistant engineering thermoplastics, making it suitable for prototypes.

Innovation Platform
MJF features an open material and software innovation platform that supports new applications across various industries.
